Four recent Hurricanes: Fay, Hanna, Gustav and Ike have caused serious damage to Haiti. Many towns are flooded and are in great need of assistance. Transportation to and from flooded areas remain difficult, if not impossible, to access. Our Visiting Team and Relief Experts have made the following assessments:
To meet the rapid urgency of the population of Gonaives, Por-de-Paix, Cabaret and other flooded sections of Haiti, the visiting team and the Disaster Relief Committee have prepared the following priority list for your local chapters and congregations. The Receiving Department is open every day to assist you with your donations and comments. We have added a new section in our Warehouse to accommodate the flux of goods and donations from individuals and Corporations.
The Receiving Department is is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and located at 600 West Oak Ridge Road, Suite B-B, Orlando, Florida 32809 .
